| Achievements GLS Consulting was responsible for the planning, design and project management for the Upgrading of the Moddergat River Scheme in the Macassar area in Cape Town. This project, for which GLS Consulting charged a considerable reduced fee for time related to community participation and education, was awarded the SAICE "Most Outstanding Achievement in Community-Based Projects" nationally for 2000. It also received a Gold award from the Impumelelo Innovations Awards for 2001.
